Want to get away from the crowds and enjoy some of the best food Chicagoland has to offer? Here's my top 5 list of the best hidden gem restaurants (that only the locals know about):
๐ Bob Chinn's Crab House – The crab house's popularity has made it one of the country's most profitable independent restaurants.
๐ Chicago Culinary Kitchen – The Chicago Culinary Kitchen food truck is now located at 2391 N. Hicks Road in Palatine every Thursday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Cooking lessons are also available, and the firm will ultimately relocate to accommodate more clients.
๐ George Trois – The only remnant was the Jean Banchet Award-winning George Trois, a small five-table restaurant with an upgraded tasting menu.
๐ Buffalo Joe's – The classic game-day meal is best served with a side of Buff Joe's waffle fries, which range in spiciness from moderate to “suicide.”
๐ Chodang Tofu Village – Seafood, beef, and pig are among the options, and customers may pick their own amount of spiciness. Every order includes a variety of banchan as well as a raw egg to poach in the soup.
Have you tried any of these spots yet?
Note: Please wear a face mask and sanitize your hands before entering the place. Always stay safe and have a great day!
