2024 PUSH Excel Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Scholarship Breakfast – Apostolic Church of God  @ 7:30 – 11am CDT: “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically…Intelligence plus character – that is the goal of true education.” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. The 34th annual Martin Luther King Scholarship Breakfast with PUSH for Excellence is returning in person Monday, January 15, 2024, 7:30 A.M. to 11 A.M at a location to be determinate, bringing together leaders, businesses and the community across the country. Join Rev. Jesse Jackson and PUSH for Excellence as we celebrate the service, legacy and ideology of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., while continuing our efforts to raise funding for college students in desperate need of assistance.

TUESDAY, July 3:

Winter Warmers: Spotlight on Pasta e Fagiole – Eataly Chicago @  6 – 7pm CST: During the cold winter months, the Italian kitchen is always brimming with hearty soups to enjoy during a night-in. Join us around the cooktop in La Scuola as our Chef creates classic Italian soups throughout this cooking demonstration series. This cooking demonstration is sure to warm you up as we focus on Pasta e Fagiole. Guests will enjoy an antipasti plate as they watch our chef create Pasta e Fagiole from scratch. After the demo, guests will enjoy the minestrone fresh from the stovetop with a glass of Italian wine.

WEDNESDAY, July 4:

The Taste of Innovation – DePaul School of Music @  5 – 7:30pm CDT: Join us as we spotlight innovation in the ever-changing world of food. This year’s event features: Food industry innovators discussing 2024 trends that excite them. Creative dishes that reflect Chicago's ethnic cuisines and neighborhoods. Bon appétit!
