This year’s new and reimagined event, Taste to Chicago To-Go, will feature free pop-up events around the city with music, performances, and great eats from local restaurants. This will be presented for the traditional Taste of Chicago festival in Grant Park. Click here for a full schedule of Taste To-Go events.

FEATURED CHICAGOLAND ACTIVITIES FOR 4TH OF JULY
Let’s hear it for the red, white, and blue! Happy Fourth of July Chicagoland! I’m so excited to participate in #allthethings our community has to offer like:
-Visit the Chicago History Museum. On Thursday, July 4, the doors are open from 12-4:30 pm at the Chicago History Museum.
-See the Fireworks at Navy Pier.
-Take a Free Dance lesson at the Spirit of Music Garden in Grant Park.
-Take a walking tour with Free Tours by Foot.
Some Fireworks display information in the Chicagoland area:
- Soldier Field – Watch Chicago Fire play Atlanta United at 7 pm. be sure to stay until after the game to watch Fireworks Soldier Field. July
- Glen Ellyn– Celebrate 4th of July in Glen Ellyn . Parade starts downtown at noon,
- Naperville– Fireworks on Sunday to begin at dusk. Frontier Park July 4 at dusk; free.
- Rosemont– Check out the Rockin in the Park event page for a complete schedule of shows featuring fireworks this summer. Parkway Bank Park. July 2, 7–10 pm; free.
- Wheaton– Wheaton’s 4th of July fireworks will take place on July 3. Graf Park at 5:30 pm fireworks will take at 9 pm. Followed by an awesome Keep the celebrations going parade in downtown Wheaton, July 5th starting at 11 am. Graf Park. July 3 at 9 pm; free.
